Everyone has a story right? Some tell everyone their trials, and others hide the truth the best they can. Like others I hide my stories. Now is a better time than ever to stop hiding and let others know what’s going on. Because sometimes people just don’t know what you’re going through.
Every day I go to school and keep myself busy with choir practices, newspaper deadlines and endless tutorials, but there’s not anything I can do to keep myself away from the struggles long enough. The people who don’t know what’s going on are the main people that mess with you without a clue. About a month ago I got into an altercation with another student. That same day my mom left for the hospital for yet another time, and my father and I weren’t speaking. On top of that the gas had just been turned off as well.
Another girl said something rude, and when I confronted her about it, she got out of line with me. In that moment all I wanted to do was take all of my frustrations out on her. If it wasn’t for a close friend of mine being there, I probably would have started fighting her.
As a warning for the people who pick on others just because they feel like they can, I would watch out. You don’t know everyone’s story or what they’re going through. So when the day comes that a person gets tired of taking the verbal, emotional and or physical abuse and snaps on you, remember at that moment you were messing with them. You didn’t consider what they might be going through. It’s always only a matter of time before everyone’s home life interferes with their future plans.
